This guide will walk you through setting up and using the Ricoh Multi-Function Printers on campus. To print or copy successfully, you need to select the correct print queue and link your university ID card to the printer.
1. Select Your Print Queue
Before sending a document to print, ensure your computer is connected to the correct network queue. Queue names differ depending on whether you are using Windows or macOS.
For Windows Users
Ricoh print queues are automatically installed on university-owned Windows devices. To verify they are installed:

Search for Printers & Scanners in your Windows search bar.

Look for and select one of the following queues depending on your needs:
💡 Using a personal Windows computer? You will need to install the necessary mobility drivers first. You can download them by visiting go.brandeis.edu/mobileprinting. If you do not see these queues on a university-owned machine, please contact the Help Desk.
For Mac Users
Ricoh print queues are automatically configured on university-owned Mac devices. When preparing to print your document, select one of the following options:

2. Associate Your ID Card with a Printer
The first time you use a Ricoh printer, you must link your physical Brandeis ID card to your account for quick tap-and-release printing. This is a one-time setup process.

Tap/Swipe: Walk up to any campus Ricoh printer and locate the card reader. Swipe or tap your Brandeis ID card.

Log In: A screen will appear asking for your login credentials. Use the keypad to enter your standard Brandeis username and password.

Success: Once entered, your card is successfully linked. For all future printing, you can simply tap your card to log in and release your print jobs instantly.
